By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.

1. Nature of Services

Home Watch Experts, LLC provides non-invasive, visual property inspections as defined in our Home Watch Services Agreement.

We are not:

  • A security company

  • A repair contractor

  • A guarantor against theft, vandalism, or system failure

Repairs or additional services must be separately contracted in writing.

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Maintaining adequate homeowners insurance

  • Providing necessary keys and alarm access

  • Notifying us in writing when the property will be occupied

  • Updating emergency contact information

3. Emergency Authorization

If an emergency arises that may result in immediate damage and the client cannot be reached in a timely manner, Home Watch Experts, LLC may act as the client’s limited agent solely to authorize protective measures necessary to prevent further damage.

All related costs remain the client’s responsibility

4. Payments and Fees

  • Invoices are due upon receipt.

  • Late payments may incur fees.

  • Returned checks are subject to a $30 fee.

  • Pricing is subject to change with notice.

5. Limitation of Liability

Home Watch Experts, LLC shall not be liable for property loss, damage, personal injury, or other claims except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct as defined under Maine law.

6. Indemnification

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Home Watch Experts, LLC, its members, employees, agents, contractors, and representatives from losses arising from:

  • Third-party vendors

  • Client-authorized services

  • Conditions beyond our control

7. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine.

Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the appropriate state court located within Maine.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of revisions.
